The Great British Chefs

Recently, we worked on a very exciting collaboration with the incredible publication Great British Chefs.

First up, Rowena offered An Introduction to Filipino Food, talking all about traditional flavours, produce and dishes. If you’re not too familiar with what Filipino food has to offer, this article is a great first step into the fascinating and delicious world of the Philippines.

Curious? Do you want to find out more? We couldn’t possibly talk about Great Briths Chefs without shining the spotlight on one of the pillars of Kasa & Kin, our talented Chef Jeremy Villanueva. Discover all about his fascinating culinary journey that took him many places around the world before finally leading him back to the recipes he grew up with in the Philippines.

Each of our recipes at Kasa&Kin has a special story – and Jeremy Villanueva kindly accepted to share some of these treasures with you. This is also what we’re all about at Kasa&Kin, sharing is at the very core of our cuisine and vision. Our Sticky Barbecue Pork, Salmon Kilaw, Filipino Turon, Octopus with Calamansi Aioli, Chicken Inasal and Beef Kare Kare won’t have any secrets for you!

Of course, we didn’t forget about desserts- and we know you’re just as obsessed with our Tsunami Ube Cheesecake as we are. Are you up for the challenge? Do you think you’ll be able to re-create our iconic dessert at home and amaze your guests with the sweetest Tsunami of all?

If you recreate any of these recipes – please don’t hesitate to share them with us on Instagram, tagging @kasaandkin and @gbchefs for a special surprise!
